We Want Women CIC are a voluntary organisation in Liverpool, founded in 2016 with a vision to create space, empower and celebrate all women in the performing arts. As the community widened and expanded, We Want Women CIC have hosted monthly events to empower and support women and non binary artists in the City and beyond.
Their work has involved projects with Liverpool Pride, Liverpool City Council, Arts Culture Liverpool, Arts Council England.
We Want Women CIC are dedicated to reminding their community at this time that they are, and always have been in full support of ALL women, inclusive of our trans women.
