The Book Stop is an independent community bookshop located in the heart of St Helens. We are proud to provide a safe space for anyone and everyone to feel welcome and comfortable just as they are!

As an independent bookshop we are keen to create an inclusive environment and ensure there is a book for everyone; located in store we have a wide range of LGBTQ+ fiction and non-fiction focusing on a variety of topics, along with LGBTQ+ bookish events! We also have toilets located in store including one with disabled access, these are open to everyone (no questions asked) and are free of charge.
