I want to take the opportunity to say that Queer Sober Social is a safe and welcoming space for everyone in the LGBTQIA+ community, including trans and non-binary individuals. We are committed to respecting and affirming all gender identities and ensuring our events are inclusive and free from judgment.
All venues we partner with are LGBTQIA+ safe spaces, and we will take extra care to make sure that appropriate services and facilities are available to support and affirm the identity of trans community members.
In light of the recent UK Supreme Court ruling, we want to express our deep concern, anger and disappointment. We stand in full solidarity with the trans community and will continue to advocate for dignity, equality, and respect for all.
