What they said
Open Table Liverpool is a diverse Christian community which offers a warm and affirming welcome to people who are: Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer / Questioning, Intersex, Asexual (LGBTQIA+) + our families, friends and all our allies. We aim to create a safe sacred space for you to explore faith, what it means for you, bringing your whole self to God and the community. Whoever you are, wherever you come from, you are more than welcome here. As our tag line says “come as you are”.
We have gender neutral toilets and folk are warmly welcome to get changed at the church if they would like. We take our Trans+ inclusion seriously and do all we can to make Open Table a safe space for trans folk and everyone else. We celebrate Trans Day of Visibility every year and Trans Day of Remembrance and have a Trans+ rep on our leadership team to ensure the needs of the Trans community are at the heart of our community planning.
