What they said
Liverpool Gaymes Fair is a joyful celebration of community, creativity, and queer joy through the shared love of games. Whether you’re here to try something new, make friends, or roll some dice, this space is for you — and we want everyone to feel safe, respected, and seen.
When we came up with the idea for Liverpool Gaymes Fair, and made CLAMS @clamsgroup an Unincorporated Association we came up with 4 objectives & missions:
❤️Promote inclusivity and diversity in gaming by hosting events that cater to the LGBTQ+ community. 🧡Foster a safe and welcoming space for LGBTQ+ gamers through conventions, networking, and educational initiatives. 💛Reinvest profits into the community, ensuring sustainable growth and charitable contributions. 💜Support LGBTQ+ charities and initiatives by donating 50% of net profits that occur after each event and/or the end of the financial year.
Our aim is to create a sustainable, open, and safe event that fulfils those 4 objectives every time.
We have written our Community Guidelines in a way that highlights the behaviours and values we ask all attendees to uphold to help make this event welcoming and affirming for all. Harassment, discrimination, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated, and if something doesn’t feel right, you need help, support, or just someone to talk to, our volunteers are here for you. You can find them at the info desk or ask any staff member with a badge.
We are proudly LGBTQ+ centred — all sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions are welcome here, and ask everyone to be inclusive at their gaming tables. Invite others in, explain rules clearly, and make space for different play styles.
