GothFrog is a queer run, not for profit collective with allies at our side. Our aim is to create events that are fully accessible and inclusive, where trans and queer people are not only welcome but celebrated.
The Sophie Lancaster Foundation works to stamp out prejudice against alternative people, and we see the same fight when it comes to trans and gender nonconforming communities. Just like Sophie was targeted for her identity, trans people still face hostility, even in alternative spaces where acceptance should be the norm. We want to make it clear: trans people have a place at gigs, in mosh pits, in cabaret, and everywhere in society.
Our safer space measures include:
- A zero tolerance policy for any form of bigotry
- A clear reporting system if you experience or witness harassment. Our team and the venue will act immediately
- A plus one scheme, so anyone who needs support can bring a companion for free
